In Oxaca, Mexico artists carefully carve and paint wooden animals and figures with fantastical designs. The figurines are called Alebrijes and we have been able to obtain several from a Oaxacan man who buys them directly from the artists. This one of a kind piece of art is a pig, signed by the artists on the base and measuring approximately 4.5" from ears to bottom.
